CALSv4 Version 4.6.2
Version 4.6.2 includes simple updates to improve readability. Buttons, menu items, site title, and breadcrumbs will no longer automatically convert to uppercase. Please check the buttons on your site to make sure they are capitalized appropriately.
The following items are no longer automatically all uppercase:
- Site title
- Resources menu items (red top bar)
- Breadcrumbs
- Buttons
Because button text was forced uppercase previously, there may be some inconsistencies in the way that your buttons are cased. Our team manually checked 600+ pages across all of the sites on our platform to make sure buttons don’t have weird casing (i.e. all lowercase, or random capital letters). However, while we did our best to ensure professionalism, you may want to double check the letter casing for consistency (i.e. Some May Be Title Case and Some may be sentence case)
Why we made these changes:
Simply put, text that is all uppercase is harder for users to read. By changing the default, we improve the accessibility and readability of our platform. While we strongly encourage you to avoid all-uppercase text, this change gives users better autonomy to choose the letter casing that is right for them.
