Filter
- All Events – Displays all events from today.wisc.edu.
- Tag – Allows you to only show events based on a specific tag. If you know the specific tag value, you can type it in. Otherwise, you can choose an option from the suggestions list.
- Custom Feed ID – Show events from a curated feed. WiscWeb has some helpful documentation here on how to create a custom feed.
To display all CALS events, use event feed 30 - Event ID – Show one specific event on your page. Any changes made on today.wisc.edu will reflect in the block on your page, though changes may not always display immediately. To get the event ID, open the event in today.wisc.edu, and enter the number at the end of the URL.
In the example https://today.wisc.edu/events/view/123456, 123456 is the event ID.
Limit
The maximum number of events to display. It is recommended you keep this number no more than 5 to keep lists short and scannable. You can always add a button below the block that links out for users to view “More Events” on today.wisc.edu.
Fields
Allows you to control which additional fields from the event will be displayed on the page. If there is no value for the field, the field will not display for that event. The title and date of the event will always be displayed.

It is an in-person, hands-on workshop offered by UW-Madison Extension. From 10:00-11:00am, Dr. Amaya Atucha will cover the importance of pruning for vine health, demonstrate the pruning decision-making process, and provide training on proper pruning techniques.
