    Publications Feed

The Publications RSS block allows you to display a dynamic list of publications from PubMed or ORCiD. The list will update automatically when new publications are added.

      Sources

      PubMed

      1. Perform a search or advanced search on PubMed. The search results are what will be displayed in your RSS feed, so make sure they are accurate.
      2. At the top of the search results, near the search field, select Create RSS.
      3. A dropdown will appear. Confirm by clicking Create RSS again and then Copy to copy the generated RSS feed URL.
      4. Paste the URL into WordPress. It should automatically create the block and display the intended publications.

      ORCiD

      1. Go to your ORCiD profile. The URL should look like this: orcid.org/XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
      2. Paste the URL into WordPress. It should automatically create the block and display the intended publications.

      Block Settings

The publications block has several settings, including style options and controls for what is displayed.

      • Number of publications
Control how many publications are displayed. The higher the number, the longer the page will take to load.
      • Featured authors
Add up to 10 authors to feature. Featured authors will be bolded in the RSS feed.
Note: not all publications sources support authors. This option will not be available in those that don’t.
      • Display…
The following fields can be toggled on and off (if the source supports them).

      • Global, regional, and national burden of tuberculosis and multidrug-resistant tuberculosis by HIV status, 1990-2023: a systematic analysis for the Global Burden of Disease Study 2023

        GBD 2023 TB HIV Collaborators

        The Lancet. Infectious diseases. 2026 July 1. pmid:42385762, doi:10.1016/S1473-3099(26)00295-1

BACKGROUND: Tuberculosis (TB) is the leading global cause of death from a single infectious agent. Recent reductions in global health funding have threatened TB control, making comprehensive assessment of TB, HIV-related TB, and drug-resistant TB burdens before these disruptions essential for shaping effective responses. The WHO End TB Strategy sets targets of a 95% reduction in TB deaths and a 90% reduction in TB incidence between 2015 and 2035. Using results from the Global Burden of Diseases,…

      • Larger Acute Phase Reactions Are Associated with Immunogenicity of an Adjuvanted Recombinant Receptor Binding Domain Protein Vaccine Against SARS-CoV-2 in Rhesus Monkeys

Christopher L Coe, Gabriele R Lubach, Francesca Nimityongskul, Kimberly Luke, Eva G Rakasz, David M Rancour, Fritz M Schomburg

        Vaccines. 2026 June 25. pmid:42347644, pmc:PMC13308342, doi:10.3390/vaccines14060523

CONCLUSIONS: Rapid antibody responses to primary immunization and large secondary responses to booster immunizations were elicited by this adjuvanted recombinant RBD-Fc vaccine, and our analysis affirmed the view that a transient APR can enhance antibody binding with antigen proteins.

      • Characterization of Plasma Biomarkers in Brain Dead Organ Donors

Miraf A Molla, Matthew J Keberlein, John H Fechner, Erin Halpin, Haikun Zhang, Hope A Weed, Brittany M Hall, Liupei Huang, Alexis M Holm, Matthew E Brown, Stephanie M Pouch, Nikole Neidlinger, Mehreen Kisat, Clark D Kensinger, Joshua D Mezrich

The Journal of surgical research. 2026 June 23. pmid:42335629, doi:10.1016/j.jss.2026.05.041

CONCLUSIONS: Bacterial translocation markers remain higher in older donors than younger donors despite donor management, while inflammatory markers have a decreasing trend in all donors. Further research is required to understand the association between these biomarkers and recipient outcomes.

      • A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials of Epidural Regenerative Medicine Therapies in Managing Spinal Pain

Laxmaiah Manchikanti, Alaa Abd-Elsayed, Max Y Jin, Alan D Kaye, Mahendra R Sanapati, Sairam Atluri, Navneet Boddu, Joshua A Hirsch

Current pain and headache reports. 2026 June 23. pmid:42334678, doi:10.1007/s11916-025-01448-2

PURPOSE OF REVIEW: This review aims to assess the effectiveness of epidural injections of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in treating chronic spinal pain. While existing literature has primarily concentrated on intradiscal regenerative therapies, this systematic review focuses specifically on the efficacy of PRP and MSCs when administered into the epidural space for managing chronic spinal pain.
